Leon is a born and raised Catholic boy. Raised on the strict and unmodernized values he easily believes that anything his parents or pastor says. When he discovers he likes guys and ends up committing a sin he becomes desperate to find forgiveness from God and Pastor John. But things take a turn for the worse. It is years later that it is discovered and both him and John are reviled. Being shunned by his parents and community he turn to certain methods of coping but soon his mum and dad get tired of him and send him away to America to his aunt Mai's.
