Princess Amanda Schreave is the sister of King Maxon Schreave. She has her own Selection. But she won't be crowned the next queen because it is understood that the Heir is Maxon and America's daughter.
She finds out that her childhood friend, Ezrah, got Selected. His family's caste was a 2 but the castes didn't exist anymore.
She fell in love with 3 boys but doesn't know who to choose.
She knew that the Selection is harder than it looks. She knew she won't be the queen of Illeà because they knew that the crown is destined for the Heir of Maxon and America which is their child.
Even though she won't get the crown, she knew that she would still be the queen of the boy she'd marry in the future

btw, you'll get what kneeing means if you read the selection series: 1st book
