He's controlled by depression. His hands desperately grasps onto life, tugging at it with all of his might. Depression takes over ones soul, makes them crumble under its touch. He's about to fly away with the rest of them, the rest of everybody who has given in to depression. Then she comes along, she's like his soulmate, they act the same. Depression tried to take the poor girls life, she didn't give in, she wanted to help him. She can help him, but is she really there?

Sometimes, life isn't all sunshine and roses. Jack and Melane are friends. Not close friends, but friends all the same. They met in college through one of his professors, but never hung out much outside of school. When they graduated, she made sure he had her number and she had his.
