I was shocked when Connor, my ex-best friend and the so called 'bad boy' of the school, walked up to my boyfriend, Jay, and me with a tall brunette that looked like she could be my other long lost identical twin. Said girl wore a smug look on her face when she glanced at me. She stood proudly next to Connor, clinging tightly with a vice like grip onto his arm.
"This is Elle, Quinn's replacement." Connor introduced with a smirk, a mysterious glint shone in his eyes for a split second.
I gave Connor an offended look. How could he replace me? We were supposed to be best friends!
"You got yourself a replacement of Quinn?" Jay asked as if it were the most laughable thing in the world.
Nothing could have prepared me for Connor's response.
"No, I got you a replacement for when I steal your girlfriend from you." Connor retorted with a grin.

I look at California. She sits on my lap in the circle of us pot heads. She's not what I expected. She smokes she's the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's smart but hates school. She's a girly girl who hates dresses. She defies logic in so many different ways I expect her to sprout a horse tail and start flying. Heck when we first talked Tuesday she called me handsome and looked confused herself. She acts like she has no secrets, and maybe she doesn't, but there's something different about her. She holds confidence yet she's shy. She smokes even though she's supposed to be the typical good girl. I'm determined to find out what she's hidding if it's the last thing I do. "Baby it's almost one am." I say glancing at my phone. "We should head out, your dad already dislikes me." She turns back to me and nods. She lightly stands up and walks to the door but waits for me to walk with her. "Trevor!" She yells in her friends ear making him jump away from her other friend Greg. "You get a ride with Mar okay?" In the split second I see the skin I think I see a black crow with a green eye, but that's crazy. Only crow members can get crow tattoos and only descendants of the original crow can have the green eye. By tattoo that's on my lower back has a red eye. The red eye means non blood related member. But I have a smaller one with a blue eye beside it. The blue eye means leader. When California's biggest secret is discovered by her new boyfriend will she be able to keep her past and family secret the secret she wants it to be? ~~~~ Finally the day is over, things could have gone a lot worse but the only bad thing I got from today was getting paired with Tim in a business studies assignment. Me and him both arrived late third class and others had already chosen their partners, Dee paired with Nat. I tried conversing with Tim but the only thing I got back was a stare, I looked like a fool. It settles it I hate Timothy Storm. I know hate is a big word, but I never try to converse with anyone and when I finally did I got stared at. ~~~~ As you can see this is your typical cliche love story, the bad boy (Tim) and the the good girl (Kim) are forced to join forces due to the most dispicable activities of them all.....a school project. We have all ready a story like that before....... Infact you already know the ending Or do you? For all we know Kim may or may not be the good girl she claims to be. Is Tim really bad or maybe it's just an act. I promise you this is mostly going to be like most stories, with the crazy bitches that always making the female lead's life hell, the demons of the past coming back to haunt them and other things you have read before, But please just read the book you won't regret it, and if by any chance you do then feel free to cuss me out at the of the book........ but whatever you do read till the end.
