I was shocked when Connor, my ex-best friend and the so called 'bad boy' of the school, walked up to my boyfriend, Jay, and me with a tall brunette that looked like she could be my other long lost identical twin. Said girl wore a smug look on her face when she glanced at me. She stood proudly next to Connor, clinging tightly with a vice like grip onto his arm.

"This is Elle, Quinn's replacement." Connor introduced with a smirk, a mysterious glint shone in his eyes for a split second.

I gave Connor an offended look. How could he replace me? We were supposed to be best friends!

"You got yourself a replacement of Quinn?" Jay asked as if it were the most laughable thing in the world.

Nothing could have prepared me for Connor's response.

"No, I got you a replacement for when I steal your girlfriend from you." Connor retorted with a grin.
