COMPLETE SHORT STORY

Katie sits on her bed, letting tears drip down her face as she looks at the last page in her notebook. She's spent the day writing, but, in the end, it has come to nothing.

Her many failed ideas litter the ground around her.

When Katie uses her last piece of paper to draw a cheesy superhero, she finds herself staring at a silly-looking sketch of a little boy. Frustrated, she throws her drawing to the ground, leaving the room.

In her absence, the boy wakes up. Finding himself to be made of paper, but still alive somehow, he goes on a journey to the top of Mount Plot. Along the way, he meets both friend and foe, and tries to prove himself worthy of being the main character in Katie's story.
