Startling events are set into motion during a trip to Ennead Mountains, as his friend Uwee quickly vanishes, and giant glowing spiders appear. Hadge and Uwee barely escape the mountain alive, however he comes to the conclusion that a book had beset Elysium into this age of darkness. A mysterious whispering book he discovers he cannot read, and is determined to find someone to reveal its secrets. Hadge journeys through the mountain where the deadly scyphus live, beyond the giant mountain troll that saves his life, and into the lost woods where his life is turned upside down. He at last identifies the voices from the book, as they read from the pages, telling Hadge he's a divine being, and that sealing the book would be Elysium's only hope for a future. Disturbingly to seal the book he has to journey straight into hordes of demons, and into the bowels of Hell, where he will be related a terrible fact, "Oh shit kid. You're not even real."Complete

We've been around, for a very long time. We've watched innumerable scores of creatures die, watched empires crumble, great rulers wither away , and planets themselves collapse into barren wastelands devoid of life. But we've also seen races, brought back from the brink of extinction, kingdoms saved during their final hour, planets and entire star systems blossoming with life and prosperity, all because of our actions. Yet even so, too often have we been too late to save a planet, or a species, that we sometimes feel very small, very insignificant, when we think of the grandiose ideas many have of gods and their all encompassing power over the universe. Some have even gone so far as to call us a god, despite our failures, but we know better than to believe them. We are just as mortal as any other. But they persist in their beliefs, despite what we have told them, what we have shown them to be the truth. So for the time being, perhaps we are a god, at least in their eyes. Those people being exorcists, something they should become. But what if they didn't want to grow up and follow in their bloodline like their sibling had? What if they wanted to live a normal life without the unique vision of seeing what the average citizen cannot? What if they cared not to be dragged into a life involving inhumane beings, and just studied for a job they yearned for, for the rest of their life? Unfortunately, wants cannot always be haves, for this young student at Kamome Gakuen cannot escape the life of a person with seeing eyes. It all started with a school mystery, his assistant, an exorcist, and somebody who wanted nothing to do with the apparition life in the first place. A shame none of them could get what they want.
