Alyssa Smith seems to have a normal life, but that will all soon change. Right when her school gets off for winter break, Alyssa is sent to spend two weeks with her grandparents. She does love them but isn't too happy about spending two weeks with them. She begins to have odd dreams and is followed by an odd man in a trench coat. And if it couldn't get any worse when she gets to her grandparents strange things start  to happen, from things being moved, to apparitions, strange noises in the night, and doors opening and closing on their own.
