From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. On their way they get attacked by pirates. He puts his crew in an escape pod but couldn't fit in the same pod as them. Making his way to the other pod his ship jumps to a random solar system. Luckily before the ship fully breaks he makes it to the other escape pod. After the crash he makes his way to a hidden military facility. He'll now have to face the true about the "time of peace" he lives in and face the consequences of humanity playing with things they couldn't possibly understand.
