Summer's parents are divorced and her mom could care less as to what she does. Her boyfriend Treston only uses her for sex and her father is mentally and physically abusive and says that she will never be enough.

One day Summer goes to a party with Treston without her father's permission. She meets Kyle who goes to a separate school.
