Skyler Brookes has a lot to deal with, things like her family: divorced parents, 5 brothers. Then there's boxing, her 'troublesome behaviour and attitude', avoiding getting suspended from school...again, being 17, senior year et cetera et cetera.

Now she has to deal with her new neighbour, the notorious player and lady's man Jesse Rivers, one of the 'Elite Six', the group of the most popular and hottest boys in WestWood High. His 'I just got out of bed' styled slightly shaggy dark brown hair, intense stormy grey eyes, stunningly sexy and fit body, topped with more than enough charm to make Kristen Stewart smile, has all the girls swooning over him. Oh yah and he's the quarter-back on WHS's football team too.

From their first meeting she thinks he's an annoying, flirty, cocky, self-loving type of guy. They seem to have only four things in common: a hatred for brussels sprouts, a strange and over-the-top obsession with nutella and skittles, a passion for cars and a talent for pissing each other off.
But as she gets to know him and his friends, he learns things about her that she wished he didn't know. He breaks her walls that she built around herself, walls so high and strong that even her bestest friends can't get through. And she learns things about him that she didn't know either, but they weren't secrets to begin with.

She also see's a side of him that only his closest friends see, and even they rarely see it. As the two grow closer, she realises they have more in common than she first thought. After all these revelations, do her feelings towards him change?
