When He Looks in the Mirror

Dr. Henry Jekyll is a smart man. Dr. Henry Jekyll is a wise man. Dr. Henry Jekyll is a good man. And he will continue to tell himself that until it is witnessed by God to be true.

In late 1800s England, Dr. Henry Jekyll is determined to prove to those against his scientific aspirations that he can and will separate good from evil, freeing the world from the madness of war and eliminate all darkness from mankind. After testing his formula on himself, the doctor is successful and manages to separate the good from the evil within him, creating another version of himself, the second and worse self, Mr. Edward Hyde. However, after years of peaceful -if at all tedious- cooperation between the two alter egos, Jekyll starts to suspect that there is something peculiarly odd stirring within his two souls.
Soon enough, when he looks in the mirror, he is not able to tell whether he is dreaming, or if he has finally been pulled into hell by the very demons he so desperately tried to create. No matter which it may be, he finds himself bruised, bloody, and broken, attempting to claw his way out, only to be kept down and burned by the only man he truly thought he could trust.
