"There's nothing really special about my title, Matchmaker. It just means that I have an inherent ability to see some sort of blood red pulsating cord around those destined to be mates. I kept this ability of mine hidden the moment I realized that I was the only one among the werewolves to have such unusual insight. I was quick to use this gift of mine for profit against other rogues as soon as I left my pack. Even with my ability, I prefer not to meet my mate just yet for personal reasons. But I guess even I can't control what only I can see..." *Please enjoy my own take own soulmates using a blend of commonly known western 'Werewolf' legend and commonly known east Asian 'Red String of Fate' folklore.* **Warning! Violence! Language! And all those no-no-stuffs!**

Secrets and lies were never a part of my life. Until, that is, I met him. Then, everything changed. Or, maybe things were always messed up, and meeting him just brought clarity to the obvious. He says we're meant to be together, but I don't even know who I am anymore. He says he will always protect me, but he doesn't understand the pain that I've faced in my life. Werewolves used to be the villains in fantasy that I read growing up. The wolf who chased after Red. The wolf who blew down the little pigs' houses. Now, I'm told that they're real, and I am meant to spend the rest of my life with one.
