But there are bigger problems at hand. The kingdom is being threatened and someone is needed to embark on a dangerous quest to stop what is happening. What will happen when she orchestrates an elaborate scheme to help in any way she can? What will happen to her and the people she leaves behind? She will be tested again and again.

During this quest she must enlist the help of Breccan Dolemo, an overconfident jerk who somehow got mixed up in a clan that kills for sport. Not only has he murdered but Breccan has made himself a sworn enemy of Sera's. Can they put aside their differences in order to find Paradise? Or will Caiden's life goal go on unfulfilled?
