The streets of Seattle were uncommonly quiet for one in the morning on a Sunday. Every single human being was fast asleep. Every single one, except for a tiny girl curled up under filthy worn out blankets. She moved from side to side, unable to close her eyes, making her bed creak in protest. She carefully lifted her head after the last time changing positions in order to check on the kids. The noises coming from her protesting bed were becoming louder by the minute. A wave of relief overcame her when she noticed they all had a smile on their faces; They were probably dreaming about the chocolate cake she had baked for them after they got back from school. They ate every single piece of it. Not a single piece was left behind. She would miss them so much. But she couldn't wake them up to say goodbye. If she did, they could easily spot the backpack she had carefully hidden under pillow. And she was just not ready to give them any explanations...

Annabelle's is ready to leave the Mauller's house for good. After years of being in the same foster home she finds out that her parents were murdered by no one other than the Maullers. But there's more to that. They killed Anabelle's parents because of a powerful talent they had. A talent that Annabelle didn't know she had also inherited.

...

Annabelle will go through ups and downs as she tries to further understand her gift, find the place where she belongs and maybe, just maybe, find the family that she has been looking for.

Join Annabelle in this beautiful story about growing up, falling in love and understanding your call here on Earth.
