A Thousand Years

Mariah Sanders is a loner. She never knew what it was like to actually have someone there for her. Abandoned by her parents, Mariah recently faced the loss of the only one who actually took care of her, her Aunt. She only has her depressed brother who she only comes face to face with every blue moon, and she struggles with trusting others and keeps her guard up. In school, she is a wallflower. No one knows who she is , or that she even exists and she likes it that way. When the new kid Chresanto comes on the scene, he takes an interest with Mariah, and eventually send her world in a whirlwind. Can he break down her walls, or will he be shut out like the rest of those who have come in contact with Mariah?
