Screams. Screams are what woke me up to hell August 13, 2021. My father, my mother...dead, and a new life to come. A new life where monsters that were only told in stories came to life. No peace, no hope, no love, nothing humane lingered for long in this world after the Shift came about.
The first five years were utter chaos, no one knowing how to live side by side with new creatures that threatened the existence of humans. The smart ones learned to drop all their humanity to survive. They learned to fight those who could destroy them, the monsters. They learned how to stand their ground. Most people, however, hid in their houses, tucked their loved ones away and got away with their short, pitiful lives.
Now it is years later and my brother is missing. The world has long passed into its own dark and deep hell, and it spells nothing good for a girl on her own. No matter how much people underestimate me, I will survive, no matter who or what stands in my way.

11:59 pm "5" "4" "3" They chanted counting down to the moment Ares will meet his mate. "2" "1" Sparks erupted in my heart making me gasp and fall onto my knees in shock of the unfamiliar feeling. Everyone in the ballroom turn to me before gasping in shock. A loud Beastly roar is heard through the air making everyone go silent. "Oh Shit!" Steven exclaimed next to me, his brown eyes going huge at the sight in front of me I look up to see Ares, he jumps off the stage and runs at me, the crowd splits in half leaving me in the middle where he can get to me easier "Gee thanks guys" I glare at everyone He quickly but gently picks me up into his strong arms slamming his soft pink lips onto mine. Fireworks.Sparks.Tingles. It's as if all of the evil memories or thoughts of him were washed away as I kissed him more. Like as if I was brainwashed, in a trance that I couldn't break out of. It was addicting like a drug, I had to have more. Then I remember who he was. What he has done to innocent people. My mate is a monster. I pull away in shock not believing what I just have done. It felt like I murdered someone just by kissing Him. This is wrong. I hate it. But, I love it. He looked at me with shock and hurt expression on his face The Alpha Ares actually has feelings? I never seemed to fit in. My life in Argonia was never as wonderful as I pretended it was. I loved my family, the quirks of my Argonian home and having magic. The problem is there has always been something missing. Watching the love between my sister Matilda and my best friend Xander always made me wish for my life bond. No girl has ever affected me the way Dad had told me I would recognise my life bond. It saddened me a lot of the time, though I pretended it didn't bother me. Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.Complete

Who's hunting who exactly ? Not in anyone's wildest dreams, not even in mine I'd dream of this night to happen to me. Just like an endless dance; People meet, waltz, fall in love, marry, and then die a tragic death. For thousands of years, humans lived and thrived with the naive belief that they were the only ones who existed. There were humans that did believe and sought to find out the truth. It is rare that a human is aware of the world that lives among them. Life went chaotic so mental stability was not in the plan for a long time. Now, this is going to be going through some adjustments because it has been so long since a lot of the original events that I planned actually happened in my life plus a lot of new ones. O Negative
Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
