THIS IS A LARRY STYLINSON STORY, IF YOU DO NOT SHIP THEM, THEN GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN!!! // 'I remember when my life was simple. When everything wasn't handed to me on a silver plater. I remember falling in love for the first time. But most importantly, I remember when Harry was happy. When he was joyful, and always smiling. Back when I got to see his dimples so many times a day. I remember when it wasn't all so cold. If only I could find a way tell him that the night he broke down, I did too.' Harry was an average happy person. Everything was fine. He was happy and in love. He was so in love, he didn't know what to do with himself. Until something dramatic happened. He stopped talking. He wasn't himself anymore. He lost feeling. Nobody knows why, but Louis wants nothing more than to understand. To get what happened to the sweet happy boy from the x-factor. Louis wants nothing more than to bring back the warmth in Harry's mind, the happiness. He knows it's still there. If only he could get Harry to let him understand. To let Louis into the world he's trapped in.

Louis finds himself out of place in LA, unable to get at an itch that’s been bothering him for years. He supposes back in the early days, home hadn’t been a place. It’d been a person. He’d etched it permanently into his skin for fucks sake. It was always him and Harry. Stuck to each other like super glue. Pulled together by some magnetic force, existing in their own bubble. Everyone could see it, but that was half the problem, wasn’t it? It's not like Louis can pinpoint the exact moment in time when him and Harry fell out of sync. There wasn't really one at all. It had been a gradual slip, like the tide wearing away at a sandstone cliff. Chipping the solid foundations until there was nothing left to stop the structure falling to the waves below. It's not like he spends all of his time sitting around moping over a lost friendship, he's good at distractions. ------------------------------------ It's a story from Archive of our own!
