My name is Ruby and I prefer to spend my life reading, then living. Inside brings me comfort, the world is easy hiding behind a door. Sooner or later though  I'm going to have to face what's behind that door but I never said how. 

Ruby Rose is a 16 year old girl, with a fear of the outside world. As year twelve begins, her world unravels, having to take off the mask that she hides behind so well. With ups and downs and funny moments, Ruby meets someone who gives her the chance to be free but who will it be?
