Scott McCall has been a werewolf for a few months now, but his life hasn't really gotten any easier since he defeated Peter. His crush still doesn't seem to know that he exists; his best friend's dad still wants to kill him (violently); and on top of that, his other best friend's longtime crush is missing, and might be turning into a she-wolf. Not to mention half the school thinks he and Allison are dating. Isaac Lahey doesn't think Scott McCall would ever care to notice, or even think about, the lonely kid whose father abuses him, who doesn't have any friends, and is still in the closet (mostly so his father won't hurt him even more). So when Derek Hale shows up one night when Isaac is working at his father's graveyard, and tells him an unbelievable story, Isaac realizes that this might be the way to getting Scott's attention - except it has unforeseen consequences.
