The 60's and Bob Marley days of pot have misrepresented the true nature of a miraculous plant with the face of rainbow coloured, toking, chain smoking hippies and pot heads. The true face of this medical gift from nature is completely obscured in legal wrangling, misrepresentation, misconception and mistaken identity from all corners, including sadly, the very people who would champion it's cause.

This compilation of information is by no means exhaustive, nor is it in any way intended to push cannabis, offer medical advice or to provide anything other than solid information on a plant with a myriad of obscured and suppressed qualities.

"Mom, not today. I don't even know why you're making me go. Today is dads..." I didn't want to finish and remind her of dads' birthday. My phone kept ringing, I already knew it was Dakota, he's my childhood best friend. "Just take your brother to school, please!" She exclaimed. She looked miserable. I shut the door and smelled the freshly cut grass. I smiled to myself knowing it was my dad's favorite smell. "Alexandria! We're gonna be late, can you stop daydreaming and get in the car." My brother, Cory hollered. He hates to think about dad. He just forgets. I Jeep Wrangler and I started the car, Cory rolled down his windows. "Are we sitting together at lunch today?" Cory asked me. "No I want you to sit with your friends, I'll be alright alone." I told him. "Alright Alex, believe it or not I actually love you. And I love you enough to tell you, you need friends." He admitted. "Have fun. Love you too, Corky." I laughed at the name I gave him when I was a kid. He smiled at me then left into the school. I went on to go to a flower shop. I stopped and got out. I walked in the shop. "Ally, do you have my order, the cars running?" I asked Ally. "Yeah Alex, I have it. Your order for 1 dozen Chocolate Cosmos, 2 dozen Daises, and 1 dozen yellow Roses." "Thanks Ally." I grabbed all the flowers then ran back to the car. I drove to the grave. I threw all my stuff into my bag. I grabbed the flowers and I pulled my bag over my shoulder and got out. I looked around and saw people young and old coming here to see their loved ones. I saw my families graves. Almost my whole family will be buried here. My grandpa always said it was sacred. I put the Cosmos on my dad's grave. The Daises on my grandmothers and the Roses on my grandpas. I talked and talked to them till I pull my pack of cigarettes out of my bag along with a lighter. I put the cancer stick in my mouth and lit it. "You guys are probably really mad right now. Blame peer pressure in 9th grade."

Based in 2020, outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia Capri Laurent, a 19 year old community college student pursuing a degree with no real end goal in mind. Living at home with his parents, sister and baby bo, his life isn't as easy as it appears to be. Having his son at the ripe age of 17, Capri has to make ends meet for his kid, especially when the mother wasn't exactly in the picture. As if his life wasn't hard enough, after his son is diagnosed with autism Capri isn't sure how their lives will look for them. Playing the cards he was dealt, he grows, like a rose through concrete- with help of course. Harlem Santino, a 20 year old with dreams higher than he can reach. Harlem had always been amazing in sports, you name it- football, soccer, baseball, but basketball owned his heart. It was his passion, what kept the light shining bright in his big brown eyes. With a once in a lifetime opportunity with a full basketball scholarship to GSU Harlem would have been stupid to turn it down. However life had a twisted and fucked up way of making good people hurt. When his mother and only living family member is diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer Harlem is forced to touch bases with old connects and pick up a not so safe side hustle. All while balancing his sport management degree and his grilling basketball requirements. Seemingly both alone in their own ways, who knew that an old hardly in use skating rink, a few joints, and good old r&b story telling would bring two drowning souls together and make life seem all the more bearable.
