Jeremy Dixon had it all. A quaint countryside home, countless hours of endless fun, friends that he thought of as family, and a very likeable personality. As the radioactive nerve agent spreads towards Crystal Brook and the rest of the country, harsh truths are learnt, and the world which Jem thought he knew so well begins to crash before his very eyes, leaving him, and everyone else, in search of answers.

four quirky best friend + three seemingly useless (but cute) boys + the most popular guy in school turned zombie + a stoner found hiding in a cupboard = a surprisingly efficient rat-tag group of zombie slayers on their way up the east coast of australia to their safe haven.
