Suddenly, all their eyes turned to me and cheers of joy escaped their lips. They were so loud that I didn't even hear the sound of a door open less then five feet behind me. These cheers aren't for me though, not by a long shot. From the name that they were all yelling out, I didn't have to hear the door open behind me to know who was walking my way. Nor did I need to look up at him when he stood next to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. Feeling the weight of him surrounding me I tensed up a bit. Honestly I hated when he showed affection in front of screaming fans. Some of them might just think I'm his girlfriend or something and be planning my death as we speak. Then again, at least I would die without having to do my math homework. . .. ... It's been three months since the accident that turned Kori Skye's life upside down. Being the sole survivor of a car accident that took the life of her parents, the seventeen year old minor was placed into the car of her only living and able relative, her elder brother Cole Skye until the day she turned eighteen. Before the accident, Kori hadn't seen her brother in three years. Not since the day he turned eighteen, when the aspiring musician left with his band, hoping to create a name for themselves in the industry. Which they did. Now three years later his band, Forget Yesterday, was one of the hottest bands in the country. With the start of their USA tour already in process, Kori must pack up the life she had behind in Arizona and move onto a bus with not only her brother, but his four bandmates. Facing the challenges of life on the road is hard enough, when you throw broken relationships, sleepless nights filled with PTSD, banned romances, and an attractive security guard with the appeal of a wood chipper, there's enough material around to write a new hit album.
