On the night her best friend left for another state, Lauren expected to fall asleep, drowning in tears, when a charming stranger sends her a string of text messages confessing a long-standing crush.
Every chapter will most likely contain more TEXTS MESSAGES than narrations. Okay? Go!
PS: I always begin writing a chapter with dialogues and I thought, while you guys wait for the other stories to update, this would suffice for the times that I need a jump start to write heavy drama. This will be my outlet and this might not be as detailed as the others.
(This was supposed to be situated at the end of my other stories' chapter updates but a certain Lion King character said this was a better idea. She's a big shot marketing b-word and she's supposed to be my "manager", and maybe I love her, too, so. Hahaha! If you still don't know, it's @meerkat93. SHE DID THE COVER, TOO!!!!)
With only senior year left, Lauren wants to get out of high school and into the real world where she aspires to be a journalist. But with her inability to speak publicly, along with students picking on her, Lauren's future is at stake. Her only chance of graduation falls on her journalism class, where she's instructed to interview Camila Cabello.
The town's prolific beauty pageant queen Camila seems to have everything she could need. From the high school sweetheart to a good GPA to natural good looks, she has it all. Everyone either looks up to her or wishes they could be her. Camila couldn't be happier, or at least it seems. Camila hides a secret from everyone that could ruin her reputation as the beauty queen. A side of her she refuses to show.
Lauren doesn't know when to let go of the past.
Camila doesn't know when to be free.
Love doesn't know any boundaries.
