An ordinary teenager named Nathan Barreck gets on a plane headed to Hawaii until something goes horribly wrong. The plane crashes into the ocean; leaving behind only two survivors, Nathan and another boy named Kooper Johnson. They wash ashore to an island of mystery. Along the way these two boys meet more people with the same situation as them, trying to get home. Will Nathan and his new friends get home after the whole world gives up hope?
