"Why do you throw everything away," he asked.
"I...what?"
"You never keep anything or anyone in your life longer than you have to. Why?"
"I can't do this Tyler?" I said heading for the door, blinking back tears. His hand graved my wrist and twirled me around to face him.
"Don't you dare push me away too," he said in a low voice. I could see the pain on his face. He clenched his jaw like he was trying to hold back the deepness of his emotions. His eyes betrayed him though. They displayed an emotion that scared him almost as much as they me.
Those dark blues eyes, they spoke one word over and over.
Please they said.
Just please.
Why was this so hard? I've stayed too long. I have to run.
I kissed him one last time, more deeply then I'd ever kissed anyone. Then I pulled away and looked into pleading eyes.
"Goodbye," I said then I did what I do best. I ran and ran and ran...

I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me. Hey that person kind of looks like Jase. Wait a minute... That is Jase. "Jase?!" I ask. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you just leave and not tell anyone?! And do you honestly think I wouldn't follow you?" Jase says. I don't answer I just stand there like an idiot with wide eyes and an open mouth. Shock takes over my body and I begin to feel sick. Romeo and Juliet
SHORT CHAPTERS, Update (I thought this was going to be a short story, really, but Romeo and Juliet have other things in mind.) ------ He rips my phone from my hand again and puts it behind him. "Tell me how it works then." "We have to kiss." He looks at me for a few seconds, then grins. I recognize that smile. He's thinking of something mischievous. "A kiss?" "What? Are you worried of kissing me?" His hand swiftly finds the back of my head. A slight tug on my hair and a swift lean in for a kiss leaves me breathless. But breath seems unnecessary. His tongue invades my mouth with a rough yet skilled dance, leading me onto his lap. My hands explore his body, tracing the contours of his chest and arms. ----------------------- Dive into the exhilarating world of Romeo and Juliet as they elevate the game to unprecedented heights. As the reigning players of their school, they're mirror images of each other, identical in spirit but divided by gender. They embark on a daring test of wits and wills against each other. A story where people happen upon a friendship that can flourish into a budding romance if only.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He smiled that sickly innocent and genuine smile again. He was about to say something but I cut him off. "And if you so much as make my friend cry, I'll give you a black eye myself. Don't even think about breaking her heart... you will be a dead man." With that I got up. A dramatic exit was in order to show him just how serious I was. But hey! It's me. I don't get what I wish for and I ended up tripping on the carpet end, just as I was about to get to the door. So much for that. And just like the last time I fell, my face didn't get to keep its appointment with the floor. His arm was wrapped around my stomach and he pulled me hard against his chest. So hard that I managed to hit him and we ended up falling on the sofa together. Now isn't that a nice and compromising position you got yourself in? This can't get any worse. I tried getting up but I just ended up turning into him and found my face inches from his. He looked at me. He looked good and my hormones decided it was time to end a dry spell and started dancing about inside me. Wrong timing muthafvckers. Of course they didn't listen. His heart was the key to his love. His heart was a wonderful broken place. His heart was mine and my heart was his. "Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically.
