"Why do you throw everything away," he asked. "I...what?" "You never keep anything or anyone in your life longer than you have to. Why?" "I can't do this Tyler?" I said heading for the door, blinking back tears. His hand graved my wrist and twirled me around to face him. "Don't you dare push me away too," he said in a low voice. I could see the pain on his face. He clenched his jaw like he was trying to hold back the deepness of his emotions. His eyes betrayed him though. They displayed an emotion that scared him almost as much as they me. Those dark blues eyes, they spoke one word over and over. Please they said. Just please. Why was this so hard? I've stayed too long. I have to run. I kissed him one last time, more deeply then I'd ever kissed anyone. Then I pulled away and looked into pleading eyes. "Goodbye," I said then I did what I do best. I ran and ran and ran...

"Something's wrong." he declared and pulled away. Lucy looked down and sat straight in her chair. She opened her mouth but didn't say anything. She knew she couldn't spill.
