Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a simple, ordinary girl. A high school student living in Paris, hoping to achieve her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Until she achieves that dream, she'll stay a clumsy girl who has this gigantic crush on a classmate, Adrien Agreste. But Marinette has a secret, for she is one of Paris' greatest superheroes, Ladybug! She fights against a villain Hawkmoth along with her partner, Chat Noir who is secretly Adrien, and he has a crush on Ladybug! The catch is he doesn't know that Marinette is Ladybug and Marinette doesn't know that Adrien is Chat Noir! Hawk Moth sends akumas, which are evilized butterflies to go and turn people evil using their negative emotions so they can retrieve Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous', which gives them their superpowers! They usually defeat all of them but what would happen if they didn't defeat a villain? Or if their true identities were discovered? Or if Hawk Moth really got their Miraculous'?
