''What's with the Ferrari?'' I asked, while walking to the passenger seat. ''What of it? You don't like it?''

''That's not what I meant. You're only here for an event, barely a month. So where did you get it from?'' ''I'm staying here for 3 months, you know. And I borrowed this car from a friend,'' he said. My jaws dropped. ''What?! Didn't you tell me you're staying only for the event today?'' 

''I know, I was kidding.'' He laughed when he said this. That's annoying. He lied. But it didn't cause me any problem so I'm not mad. It's just surprising.
