The Shadows Beneath the Mountain || Thorin Oakenshield
Born of darkness. Forged in fire. Bound by fate. Diana Vanserra is an outcast; half human, half-elf, and the last of the Nyxarian line, a bloodline feared for its shadow-wielding power. Once a princess of a hidden mountain realm, her world was shattered when Azog the Defiler slaughtered her kin under Sauron's command and enslaved her for years. Now free, she's become a deadly force of vengeance, carving her way through Middle-earth in pursuit of justice. When Gandalf witnesses her fury firsthand, he offers her a new path: join a dwarven prince named Thorin Oakenshield and a Hobbit burglar on a quest to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Reluctantly, Diana agrees, but from the moment she meets Thorin, the two are fire and flint. Prideful, headstrong, and unyielding, they clash at every turn. Yet as the journey grows darker and the stakes rise, so too does the bond between them, built not on trust; but on shared scars, buried pain, and a slow-burning desire that neither dares to admit. In a world at war, love is the most dangerous shadow of all. - All Rights Reserved © Cover made by yours truly x I do not own any of Tolkien's marvellous creations, characters or the original plot of The Hobbit. When Thorin Met Tauriel
In the dungeon of the Elf King, Thorin Oakenshield gets to know the Captain of the Guard, Tauriel, and both their lives are changed forever. Based on information from the book and the upcoming "The Hobbit" movies. Rated G. This is my first fanfic. I wrote it in January/February 2012 because it was going to be a long time until December 2012, and besides, I thought it would be great if Richard Armitage's character had a romance (although I know it's not going to happen). Hope you enjoy!Complete

DAVINA ⇝ Thorin Oakenshield
"In her eyes, the sadness sings of one who was destined for greater things." [Lang Leav] Davina Roswell was the forgotten princess of an otherwise-extinct race. She had became a wanderer over the years, until Gandalf approached her about a dwarfish quest to reclaim Erebor and reminded her about the prophecy fortold of the Nymali Viator. Although reluctant, and annoyed with Gandalf's insisting that her powers were a blessing instead of the curse she viewed them to be, Davina joins the expedition. Immediately upon meeting, she and Thorin Oakenshield are at each other's throats... but a lot can change over the course of a journey as perilous as this. © The Hobbit/LOTR belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien (books) and Peter Jackson (films). I only own my OC Davina Roswell and her story.Complete
