After waking up from a comma, Scarlet is informed that she was hospitalized when found unconscious surrounded by a pool of blood and bite marks on her neck. It was now the year 2150, and she hasn't aged at all since she was 18 and now 121. Through her new life in the government laboratory, she is trained to fight against the resistance the scrapes. Who feast on human blood, and are recruiting synthetics to fight against them. During the program she meets Andrew who is a synthetic who has the abilities of a vampire. They fall in love but soon grow apart, when his brother William comes along and tells her the truth of what's really going on. That everyone is working against her and that she should let her real self be free, every encounter they have she begins to trust him even though she knows he's one of them. Through out the story, scarlet learns of love, protecting the ones you care about , and trust. Please like and comment!
P.s - Also while this work isn't mine originally, and was found off an old quiz website back in 2013. I took it upon myself to write it down and share it here while also picking up where the original unknown author left off I still hope you enjoy this persons story!

I pulled the covers off my legs and tried to stand up. My attempt of standing up failed. But I tried again. I was so dizzy I fell against the nightstand, successfully catching Dante's attention. - Go back to sleep pet. He sternly stated. - I don't want to sleep with you watching me. - Can't you see I'm not even paying attention to you. He said not even making eye contact. - I don't care your mere presence is still annoying. I tried to stand again and I was finally able to stand on my feet. I looked up at the ceiling and whispered a thank you, for not embarrassing myself by falling down again. I made my way to the bathroom but my legs gave up on me half way through. I internally slapped myself and groaned. I fell down supporting my upper bodys weight with my shaking hands. I heard him sigh and saw him stand up. - Why can't you just listen to me once? He asked crouching down to my level. - I already told you why. He traced my lips with his thumb and held my chin up making me gaze into his dark eyes. - If you want to get up so badly, then you have ten minutes to shower and change. I want you outside all done.
