Tessa Black and Michael Clifford had been friends since they were infants, but one year when they were freshmen Michael discovered he had feelings for Tessa. Michael knew Tessa didn't feel the same, he was so hurt. Michael had been bullied by the popular guys for being friends with Tessa. Michael wanted to fit in with the populars, while Tessa did not. He was still hurt because Tessa didn't like him like he liked her, so Michael left Tessa all alone.
Four years after Michael left her, Tessa leaves for the summer to go to America for family reasons and comes back a whole new person. Will this new Tessa catch the eyes of Michael, or maybe some other boys?
