Matthew Williams is a talented artists and lives in the lap of luxury. He had everything, money, fame, multiple houses and such. The thing he lacked? Love. His parents were always gone and his servants weren't that much of company. Human contact was barely around causing him to be extremely quiet. His idea of attending the DWMA for his "condition" as his parents called it was perfect in his opinion. 

When these two met it's an instant friendship. Joining the DWMA and living together might be more then they can handle.
