The choosing ceremony. That's when I get to leave behind this horrid life and faction. 
You see, I knew the life of Abnegation was not for me. We led the simple life. Selfless and dedicated to helping others. 
Hell, even if I was, I wouldn't stay in this faction. I mean, who would with a father like mine? A father who is an abusive drunk.
My brother had the right idea by leaving two years ago. He left and never looked back, and I really can't blame him. He needed a better life, a he could not get that here. 
Now it was my turn.




In this, Tris is the same age as Jodi, and so are the others.

This is a backstory for Eric. I've taken bits and pieces from the Divergent series and also the movie. I also used the book about Four that recently came out. It takes you through his journey through initiation on in to leadership. He also develops a love interest that isn't in either the books or the movie. I wanted him to have a softer side that only she'll see. Tris Pedrad has two brothers. Zeke, who is two years older and Uriah, her twin. Of course they both are the annoying, protective older brother type. Her mom, Hana, is a single parent. She loves all he children but always tells Tris to not listen to her brothers. She wants her daughter to be independent and brave. Her dad, Evan, died when she was little in a train accident. Ever since then Zeke always tries to be the father figure that they don't have anymore. Tris meets Four when she's Fourteen. Zeke brings him over after their introductions were over. Tris remembers him from the Choosing Ceremony. She instantly finds Four attractive, but he backs away from her because of her brothers. When Tris is finally going through initiation, Four is her instructor. It's hard for the both of them to keep the distance they had kept over the past two years. Four ran off with Tris while I stayed with Eric but I want my brother however I don't want to leave Eric. I have no direction anymore I am confused without my brother I need him to guide me but alas he does not consider me a sister anymore but a traitor to dauntless or has he forgiven me because I helped Tris probably not he is stubborn headed. I don't know who to choose or what to do I am stuck in the middle.

I opened my eyes to see a dozen more staring right back, it was like standing in the hall of mirrors. I look down at myself and see dirt on my arm, I rub at it but it won't come off. I look at my other arm and see the same thing, just lighter, I rub that too. My eyes adjust to the sudden change of light and I can see that it wasn't dirt, they're tattoos. I look down at my shirt and I can see another one on my collarbone. I have no idea who I am, Beatrice? Tris. My name's Tris. but that's all I know. I have tattoo's, they link to my past life. But I have no idea what they mean. Tris wakes up alone in a box but after she wakes up from a nap, she is greeted with many eyes, brown eyes, green eyes, but the ones that caught Tris' eye was a striking pair of blue ones, them eyes belonged to Newt. +++ Tris doesn't remember being Divergent after being given the memory serum, or as they know it as, the swipe. She doesn't remember Uriah, Zeke, Tobias, Will, Christina. Dauntless. What happens when some of her memories of Dauntless come back? of her inside the walls, the Chicago walls? Based on the song 'Unpredictable' by 5 seconds of summer.
