As is overtly evident, this is my first story. I'm using it as an initial assessment of my writing, and any suggestions or critiques would be appreciated. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the first book in my collection: Nuclear Deterrent. Mutually Assured Destruction. That's what they were calling it. Its technical meaning: an attack or series of attacks that result in the destruction of both the attacker and defender. What it meant to me: don't let it get to that point. There was no denying it, I had fully invested myself into halting this confrontation, causing a cessation of tension between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. As a result, it didn't matter what were to happen, I had to stop this... even if it meant my death. Though, that wasn't fazing me at all. Probably because everyone else was facing the same treacherous fate.

Damn it's finally in order. If there are repeated chapters, sorry. Updated every time I feel like updating. SAD ENDING CONFIRMED* One choice to save the country. But that same choice might fail. It is all up to America. On how they'll defend themselves against the Germans. You know what their one choice is? Read to find out. *I mentioned it was a sad ending, and it's comfirmed, but... It doesn't means I'm telling the truth... I cringe at my first book, so no mean comments thank you.
