Harry wearily shut his eyes, sinking into the warmth of her embrace. It was over. He'd done it. He could rest at long last. "Stay with me, Harry," Ginny pleaded. Harry's eyes fluttered, but his limbs and eyelids felt like lead. He tried to smile but failed. His vision slowly began to dim and finally faded to black, blocking out the voices as the curtain finally stilled. ----------------------------------------------------- As Harry returns to Privet Drive one last time before setting out to fulfill the Quest of the Horcruxes, little did he realize that all his carefully laid out plans will do straight down the drain, the moment he steps inside. With losing loved ones, betrayals and getting help from the most unexpected sources, Harry's journey is anything like he's ever dreamed, and he must adapt to this, make new plans and go along with it, finally leading up to the moment of Voldermort's death. From the moment I received my letter from Hogwarts when I was eleven, I knew then that studying in a school filled with magic and mistery would bring adventures and mischief in my life. But what I didn't know was that in a world full of magic and madness, I'd be in so much danger. Just like now. I was stuck in a chamber hidden in the girls lavatory, Death and I were pressed against a cold, damp wall as the biggest snake I have ever seen slithered its way to us. I was shaking with fear, afraid that if it sensed that I was just in front of it, it would easily sink its humongous fangs at me, poisoning me with immense speed. I wouldn't worry about Death though, because he's immortal and cannot die. Tears were flowing down my eyes mercilessly as the basilisk moved closer. I felt Death's arms around my waist tighten as he pressed us further on the wall even though there wasn't any space left to go further. "Do not breathe" I heard Death say in my mind. I didn't breathe, and I made sure that I didn't make a single sound, yet my heart seems to betray me as it felt like it was exploding in my chest. Can anyone save us from this monstrous snake? ------- Second book from "The Eyes of a Seeker"
