Bernadette Collins led the life of a Coruscant businesswoman until the day she went bankrupt. The young Force-sensitive was aware of her power, yet didn't use it for the fear of history repeating itself, after discovering the truth behind her Sith father. Her only wish was to actually change her identity. She was thrown off the ride because of her father, and already forms bubbling Sith emotions, until she followed the Force's calling to Tatooine.

Suede Marci has been trained as a Jedi ever since he was 10. Youthful and devoted to his job, he took the mission of guarding Tatooine after an awaited Sith appearance was sensed by Yuchi, Yoda's cousin. His only wish was to cross paths with Bertha Toh-Suk, a youngling he met for a single day yet disappeared after facing a family issue, and never resuming her training. Immediately both felt connected with each other in some way.

Suede received premonitions of Bertha's return, and was excited for it. But before he can meet her, he first had to face Bernadette, who accidentally discovers a secret Jedi training academy on Tatooine.
