John Wonderton was just a lowly intern in the big city. No one paid him much attention or care, at least during the day. You see, he had a secret life, one that prowled the streets at night, using his powers to take the scum bags who tried to ruin his home down. Unfortunately for him, there are a great deal of powered people who use their gifts for evil and they have a lot more experience than he does.

As he grows into his powers, he'll meet people who will shape him into one of the most powerful and feared vigilantes this country has ever seen. For little does he know now, the challenges he faces in North Terrace only set the stage for the battle with his greatest rival - The Negative Man!

Set almost twenty years before the start of The Negative Man: City of Chaos, Rise of the Lion takes us on John Wonderton's journey from upstart powered vigilante to the super hero he's destined to become. This is a bi-weekly serial set in the city of North Terrace that will also give you clues to Book Two of the Pacific Station Vigilante series.
