I stared at the ground, not able to get any words out. She walked up to me and grabbed my hands. "Luke. I'm worried about you. Please tell me why you're upset, it's starting to scare me." She tilted my chin up and I stared into her eyes. They were truly sad. Truly worried. She was generally concerned. She intertwined her fingers with mine and my heart began to race. I looked down at our hands, biting down hard on my lip. I looked back up at her. "Please, Luke. Please tell me what's wrong." I took a deep breath in. I have to tell her. I have to stop hiding. I've been hiding for years. Too scared to tell her what I'm truly feeling. I can't do this anymore. "I love you" I said, crashing my lips against hers.
