Welkom in mijn rare leven. Een leven waarbij mijn wiskunde maatje mijn aandacht probeert te krijgen, mijn ouders hopeloos bezig zijn met ons nieuwe huis verbouwen, mijn vriendinnen om alles advies vragen, mijn zusje me dood gooit met weetjes over de laatste mode trends, mijn broer, euh tja, gewoon mijn broer is, maar het ergste boven alles; dat ik midden in een cliché zit, en ik háát clichés!
Zo gaat de zeventien jarige June dagelijks door haar leven. Net verhuisd, net naar een nieuwe school gegaan en gelijk lijkt alles tot háár aangetrokken te worden.
Het grootste probleem waar ze mee rondloopt is wel dat ze opgemerkt is door een van "de badboys". Ze haat hem.
Ze probeert zich er niks van aan te trekken, zodat hij zou stoppen. Alleen het probleem is dat ze nogal lomp kan zijn en meestal niet nadenkt voordat ze iets zegt.
