The ground beneath my feet caved in. Suddenly, I was falling down into their layer.

Pepper Calmart is a teenage girl trying to survive the apocalypse. She has survived on her own for the past year but now there are others and she needs them more than she thinks. Especially the one with the action man figured neckless. He needed her just as much. She didn't believe in love or fairytale endings.
