This is the story I did for my History assignment. It is the thoughts of a young Jewish girl during the holocaust as she fights desperately to keep herself and her sister safe. The start of this story I wrote is actually known now as 'The night of broken glass' when the Nazis decided to invade all the homes and businesses of any German Jew's. In one night hundreds of Jewish women, children and men were killed and over 30,000 Jewish men were arrested for the "crime" of being Jewish and were sent to concentration camps.
