Paranormal
Sixteen year old Sage Kennedy's life has been anything but normal for a while now. There are always voices, always movement that shouldn't exist. Open doors that were once closed, leading to pitch black rooms filled to their brims with echoing laughter. It's no wonder she feels there are constantly eyes trained on her back. It's almost ridiculous though, the fact that no one else can see or hear these absurdities. .... There have always been rules. Rules even Light and Darkness cannot break. There are clear lines between the living and the dead and worlds in which both reside. But these lines are being crossed and broken. The barriers that keep evil out are falling faster than rain. There are sounds and yet silences that ripple through dimensions. We are not alone. For every star there is a being. Humans...and the monsters that exist invisible, and yet right next to us. There's a storm brewing, and Sage Kennedy will find herself right at the centre of it all. [working on a summary, but that's the gist of things] ○●○●○● Warning: This story will seem slow at first but the longer you linger, the bloodier it's pages will seem. Tread carefully... I'm just being weird. I will try my best to put a warning at the beginning of each chapter. ○●○●○● ON HOLD DUE TO SERIOUS EDITATION... ○●○●○● Special thanks to Jenikel098 for this awesome cover.

Alyssa has forgotten her brush with Death, but David's words have stayed with her: prepare. For what? She doesn't know. For a year, she's trained and become an almost undefeated boxer, putting all of her grief for the boy she loved and lost into being the best fighter. She's fast, strong, fearless. Now strange things have started happening, and she thinks she's losing her mind. How is she supposed to fight against what she can't see? Her mother's mind is clouded with a darkness no medicine can fix, and an ancient shadow circles the town, and Alyssa knows it's somehow related to her. Gifted in ways she doesn't understand, she's thrust into a triangle of devotion and danger-an angelic protector who refuses to leave her alone, a boy whose hands have held hers through the nights, and a darkness that wants only to make her surrender. In a race that runs as fast as her fists, Alyssa must choose who to trust and how much of herself to give-because the only way to stop a thing that feeds on light may be to become what it fears most. Will she save her mother and keep her humanity, or the secrets hasn't discovered cost her everything?
