Sixteen year old Sage Kennedy's life has been anything but normal for a while now. There are always voices, always movement that shouldn't exist. Open doors that were once closed, leading to pitch black rooms filled to their brims with echoing laughter. It's no wonder she feels there are constantly eyes trained on her back.
It's almost ridiculous though, the fact that no one else can see or hear these absurdities.

There have always been rules. Rules even Light and Darkness cannot break. There are clear lines between the living and the dead and worlds in which both reside. But these lines are being crossed and broken. The barriers that keep evil out are falling faster than rain.
There are sounds and yet silences that ripple through dimensions. We are not alone. For every star there is a being. Humans...and the monsters that exist invisible, and yet right next to us.
There's a storm brewing, and Sage Kennedy will find herself right at the centre of it all.

I never thought I'd actually do this.... I've thought about it but never actually gone through with it.... The voice in my head has been screaming at me for years... But I never actually tried to do... This... It's hard to be around people when you have someone telling you to tear their throats out with your teeth... But it's worse when you're alone.
