The last dragons died a thousand years ago. Their fall is a legend you can find with any teller of tales, from the woodland halls of Arolan to Calvantha's jagged cliffs. It takes effort to find the rest of the story once it dissolves into myth. Not many care to search. Riyin's dragon mark is a mystery, until the day a voice older than the earth whispers, "Go to the Gate". He and his twin brother Liren are hunted at every turn, led by a guide who knows little more of her ancient masters than they do. They must find the other Marked. They must reach the opened Gate. But humans were never meant to share the minds of dragons, and Riyin soon begins to realize that he is losing more of himself every time he hears her speak.

"I have faith in us, Alina," the werewolf whispered, his voice filled with conviction. "I truly believe that this world can be rescued, and that it's you alone who possesses the strength to vanquish the demons that haunt your mind. None of our friends, nor I, can venture into the labyrinth of your thoughts to banish them. This, you must undertake on your own, but fear not. I will stand beside you, as will my brethren." ☆★☆★→ ←☆★☆★ The tranquil existence of a young dragoness, Alina, is abruptly upheaved after a minor skirmish with a formidable adversary. In her quest for peace, Alina crosses paths with a myriad of new beings, including vengeful wolves, clumsy bears, graceful horses, and power-hungry humans. Along her journey, she must confront a multitude of trials that stir the darkest elements within the kingdom of Dragorath, all while racing against time to avert the impending doomsday. ☆★☆★→ ←☆★☆★ The inspiration for this book stems from my dear friend, Elijah Cole. He is a remarkable writer, and I encourage you to explore his works as well! I owe a debt of gratitude to Elijah for helping me find my writer's voice and getting me started on this journey. Thank you, my friend Elijah :)
