The Wizarding War may be over, but Draco Malfoy is absolutely miserable. With both parents locked up do to alliance with Voldemort, Draco lives a lonely, useless life cooped up in the Manor; but when he gets a letter inviting him back to Hogwarts for an optional 7th year, he reluctantly returns.

Draco hadn't had a choice until now, he could choose to die with the rest of Hogwarts and betray his family or he could do as Voldemort and his family said. Draco always thought as his father did, his father had him believe the same things he did, think the same way, be the same person but...
