Unlike the human world, today in Vampire Society there is still a monarchy. Queen Imogen was overjoyed to discover she would be delivering twin girls nearly seventeen years ago, however when she found out about the plot to kill both her and her children, she hatches a plan to keep them safe. One grows up amongst humans, unaware of her royal vampire bloodline whilst the other girl is raised with the vampire elite. Vampires develop their abilities - and their fangs - on their seventeenth birthdays and when an old prophecy begins to come true, two worlds will collide and come crashing down as the twins begin to discover who they really are.
