Sofie Tation is just a lonely girl with a painful past. When she has to do something dangerous to protect her twin brother, she doesn't hesitate. She always was the one to get hit by their father. She joined a dangerous organization so he could get what he wanted. She was the one who watched their mother killed by their father. But when that organization slowly asks her to do more and more dangerous things, Sofie doesn't know what to do except send her brother away.

Lucas Little is just a scared boy who ran away from home at twelve. Everyone he cared about thinks he killed himself six years ago. Now he leads a group of rebels outside city boarders. Everyone respects him, but he still thinks he's a monster. After he killed another boy in a fight, he never was the same. Yet he continues to fight.  Luke just wants to be human again.
