Amity Jones is intellectual, caring, and totally in love with her childhood friend Robin Shield. He's beautiful, kind, collected, and very taken by his girlfriend of three years, Harriet Silverstone. Despite this Amity is still hopelessly in love with him, but has never had the courage to confess. For over 11 years she's been fantasizing about being with him, which has completely eliminated any chance another guy might have with her. That is, until Noah Rivers transfers to Parkrose High School, and instantly is tied with Robin for first for most popular guy at school. With his too-cool image and extremely good looks, Noah is quickly the talk of the whole school. He catches the eye of every girl, and guy, at school, except for Amity Jones. He might be too cool, but she's definitely too smart. Or that's what she thought.

Olivia Wren grew up in a strict household-the kind with rules for everything: when to go to bed, where she could be, and constant location tracking the second she left the house. Most teenagers would've rebelled. But not Liv. She followed every rule down to the last letter. So when she got to college, it made sense that she'd use her freedom to the fullest. Parties, late nights, no one watching her every move. For a while, it felt like everything she'd missed out on. But after two years, the freedom starts to lose its shine. With nothing solid to fall back on, Liv lets herself go. It takes hitting a low point to realize that the girl she's become isn't who she wants to be anymore. Then there's Jace Rylan Camden. The kind of guy Liv's sworn off. He shows up to class drunk on the first day-not exactly the best first impression. He's an athlete, lives in a frat house, and hangs out with his loud group of friends. Basically, everything Liv's tried to leave behind. But when casual class interactions turn into seeing each other outside of it, Liv starts to question whether she's really moved on-or if Jace might be different from what she thought. Especially when the two stumble into a fake relationship- kind of will be hard to keep away from each other this way huh?
