Being numb is that heavy feeling in your chest when you don't feel any desire to speak or move. All you want to do is close your eyes and sleep, because the process of living is incredibly exhausting. You try your hardest to make your day fulfilling, but no matter how hard you try you can't seem to connect to anyone or anything. You have no idea how to think or how to deal with this, all you know is that you want to feel okay again. I didn't realise that those words would be of such meaning to me..until now.
