Cade Bleu remained in a state where he felt relatively okay. Neither sad or happy, good or bad, he merely existed and did his homework and ate food at the right times sometimes. He ignored problems the arose in his life and ignored people because they ignored him. He felt alright.

Jes Starre existed in almost the same way, but with much more fear. With a new school every year and a new family every other year, nothing felt permanent. There was nothing he could hold on to.

And they never really notice each other on a very meaningful level until everything is changed in a very literal apocalypse going on outside their school, and with no one to help them.

Welcome to the life of a teenager - she's loud, rambunctious, and most likely failing her classes. Microphone has always wanted to play in a band, on a stage where billions could watch her perform, as she gives out autographs to the crowd - but that's all just a dream, one that'll probably make it on the "discarded" list. She doesn't enjoy school, because they don't teach what she wants to learn. Is there a point in her attending if the teachers are assholes, and the students constantly pick on her for being herself? Stupid, it is. Follow the life of various highschoolers - such as Fan and Lightbulb, who wish to make a successful blog together, but it all backfires when the gossip they've been spreading all crashes down on them, and now suddenly, everyone in the school is giving them dirty looks, and not even their friends want to talk to them. Of course she has fears of her own, but most of the time she acts as if it's nonexistent. Cassiopeia revolves her life around keeping this picture perfect image of herself, the girl with perfect grades, perfect hair, and the perfect life. That's what's always been expected of her, which is why, since the fourth grade, she felt infatuated by Richie Tozier. He's everything she's told not to be, and isn't. It made her wonder how he could do it all so easily, up to the way he speaks, and down to the way he acts. Which is odd to her, because she felt she needs to despise him. But instead, she spent her days in class sneaking glances at him, and getting any chance to talk to him no matter how nervous she gets. The claws had emerged before I'd even realised, gently tearing their way through my skin, running their way through my arms and changing my body into the one thing I thought I'd hated, but I'd begun to love more than anything: a monster. ---------------------- High school. Saint Johnathan Pier is the one high school in the city where everything happens and normally, stuff you wish you didn't see. Everyone warned people about the dangers of the students going there but did they ever mention the people already broken by it? They were dubbed "the rainbow colors of society" just because they were different from other students in this school. But there's a slight differential between them: four of these students are popular while the other four are normal. While the four populars are seen as "superior, hot, and intimidating", the four normals are seen as "weirdos, weaklings, and irreverent bystanders". Being different from the other kids has always been a struggle for all of them since grade school, but they try to keep that out of mind. But with their dark history following them at every corner, making new friends can't be on their list. Matter of fact, it isn't an option. Especially when their attitudes are what drive people away rather than in. Not like they're complaining though. When these eight students get paired up for an end of the year assignment, they encounter a lot of drama that will test their relationships to the max. What will happen to them? I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check!
