He feels as though he is dying along with her but the realization of how much he loves her hits him and makes him see that he can't die with her because then her sprit and memory won't live on without him. He is her sprit. He is the reason she is alive. She may die but, their love and memory will live on as long as him.

If I could say goodbye to you

14 parts Complete

Before going in for surgery, twenty-year-old Claire Miller decided to write a diary for her boyfriend, Aster Hill. She was uncertain about her future, so she wrote whatever she could, not knowing there was no future to look for. Her sudden death left Aster heartbroken. Later, he got the things Claire left for him, including Claire's diary. One of the things she wrote in her diary was her hope for Aster to know everything she wanted him to know. With every entry in that diary, Aster finds it hard to forget Claire. What do you think about when you're letting go of someone? Is it hard to forget them in the past, or hard to live in a future without them? Message of the story- Love and connections with others are what make life truly meaningful. Even when we're facing the end, the relationships and memories we build are what give our lives real value. We can't always choose when or how we say goodbye, but the love we share and the difference we make in people's lives can last beyond our time here.
