Magical Lies

Mom said that Peter Pan was fake, she said that he was never real like the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, or even Sand Man. Growing up sucks, realizing that the little world that you once thought was true where everyone is happy and sadness is just a word. The reality hurts, growing up means leaving your little bubble of joy and putting on your big kid overalls.

Except I was going to have a heck of a ride finding out that what everyone had told me that he was fake was a lie.
